Imposing shot!     With all the rain you've had I'm not surprised there isn't more flooding going on.

I think it depends on where I go,    theres even a local rugby pitch thats 1/4 flooded at the moment.

They are removing sand/gravel and later they will turn it into a forest.

Well the ground can only soak up so much water and when it is already saturated I'm guessing that is when it starts puddling or flooding.

I quit washing my new truck and pressure washing my dock for 10 days straight.  It didn't work, still rains.

Frost here today,    when I went out this morning it caught me be surprise and cold as I didnt take the hat this morning.   Windy now and we have some fences to install later which is a pain.

I think I'll be resting today. Our walk and lunch yesterday went well, but I'm a little tired. Not that it was particularly taxing (3 miles) but I've done several this week.

Ive done 9 miles today. Im beginning to feel more energised again which is handy as we have a walking holiday in the lake district booked now.

Typically weve booked the other end in Broughton Beck but Im sure we will travel about a bit.  Hopefully Id like to try and stop at Crosby on the way up or back,

There are several Crosbys. But I'm guessing you don't mean the one near Liverpool.
The one just NE of Maryport is not far from Aspatria.  Then there's another Crosby just east of Shap summit off the M6

I did not know that,   I am indeed referring one near Liverpool,    mostly as I want to go back to the "Another Place" exhibit.  If thats the right word.     If nothing else it might be a cool place to fly my new drone there.

I broached it with SWMBOd last night,    Depending on the spec/price (laughs out loud) Im going to get the new Avata 2 +Goggles 3 when it comes out at the end of next month,   I have the nectar points to cover it and it appears Argos did sell the original one for a while.    (Ps Nectar points are a wonderful excuse to buy toys)
