No I had a BNI Meeting for networking just before this. It was beautiful and as I was driving to this I watched the clouds racing me to the scene.

Thank you. It's a quaint little area that used to be a beach town 50 years ago.

That was in Red Bank Nj. I had a good meal there in a quaint little town.

Yes it does. 5 or so years ago when we got hit by Hurricane Sandy this whole area got flooded out.

Ahh, yes Hurricane Sandy.  I remember that it really pummeled NY and NJ.  Wasn't that the one that they dubbed Frankenstorm?

It's all good. I can't keep track either. I am supposed to be in Brooklyn today. It's sunny with 30 mph gusts. Non pilots don't even know about the wind. They think it's wonderful out.

I must be crazy because I check it a few times a day. For instance the wind dies down around sunset here. I am trying to get out after 5pm to get a flight in. I'm hoping to catch some soft light the winds go to 20 mph and I fell I can get something the. Fingers crossed. DO you use UAV forecast?

When you love flying it's an addiction. The fun thing is when you meet someone who shares the same craziness. I was flying in a park in J and a police office came right up. I thought he was going to tell me to come down. Instead he had a big smile on his face, pulled out an Avada and couldn't wait to talk about it.  He was so enthusiastic that I was laughing because it's a sickness.

I had a similar experience with the coast guard recently.   it really does perk up the day doesn't it.

Hopefully, you will not see another one for a long time.  Here in southern Florida we seem to be a magnet for those hurricanes almost yearly.

The beachfront properties are maintained well. Lots of them were renovated after Hurricane Sandy.
