Remarkable capture.    Lovely reflection of the sun shining across the mud flats.  

Now that shot is well worth the early rising I reckon.

First mission of the day accomplished - close-ups of the work at the signal box - and a short walk there and back (2Kms).
A quick breakfast now, before setting off for mission 2.
It's lovely and sunny now, but the wind is picking up.

Did you get any more information about the signal box?   Wind here has been brutal all morning,   splitting wood in a saw dust storm for most of it.

I took a closer look with the Mini3Pro this morning, but it yielded nothing conclusive.
I shall have to go and ask someone.

You're welcome.  Was raining at daybreak here but stopped now and just gray clouds.  

With the rain we've had and no flying I went through some items I had stored try to continue to cut down on items I'm no longer using.  I found an old Mini I'd totally forgotten I had.  I charged up the drone battery and the RC.  Checked to make sure firmware was up to date which I figured it would be since no updates have come out for it in years.  So I put on the prop guards and flew it in an empty warehouse until the battery was down to 10%.  What a huge difference in flying that when compared to the Mini 3 Pro.  I think I'm going to donate it to the local school to use in one of their STEM classes.

A 15-minute walk.
I found something about planning for an ESS ( energy storage system) along that lane, but the webpage won't open.
Maybe it's only available during office hours at the planning department.

The Mini drones have certainly come a long way,    let's hope the next release is a real improvement again.

No. That's always manned. And there another at New mills central too.

Typical.  I was looking on the wrong railway line.  There lots of good train shots with that box.   Scope for another day maybe.

We have friends in scar bough at the moment and they seem to have the same weather as you, and I sure he wanted to fly his FPV today too.

Mini 5 in time for Christmas sales,    sounds very plausible,  I just hope it's a real upgrade this year and not just sensors.

How about dual cameras?  Do you think there is anyway possible to do that and keep it under the magic weight number?

I think there might be a comprise they could do by adding a 5k or 6k sensor they could then offer zoom via cropping,  but dual camera would mean a good weight saving and I dont see where they could get that from.

Yeah, I figured a dual camera was probably a non-starter.  How about a 1 inch sensor?

The rain for us held off until the evening,  but judging on the bucket I left on the patio we had over an inch overnight.   hoping things dry soon as I wanted to catch up on some painting I failed to do yesterday.
