Before I get the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or the Osmo Action 4, I want to know the FOV of both cameras. As of now, I'm about to get the Osmo Action 4, but if the Osmo Pocket 3 has higher FOV, then I will get that.

Hi there, for your inquiry, the FOV of Osmo Action 4 is 155°. For DJI Pocket 3, the maximum FOV is 92°. After adding an extender, the FOV increases to 108°. Hope this information could help.

There are good information sheets on the DJI store for these questions.

Yeah, 95% of my videos are watched on Youtube, which usually serves only 720p or FHD.

Also the Super Bowls are still recorded in 1080p

But YouTube also has an option for 4K and HDR.

But YouTube also has an option for 4K and HDR.

It defaults to a very low resolution, unless you tell it otherwise. To save bandwidth.
Not many people change it apparently.

Hi chap, thats only dependent on your internet speed, if your only on 60mb then it will default to a max of 1080, and if tats slow then it will drop to 720 or 480. As for the other end of the scale If you are on 1000mb then it will default to the max for that video, 4k or higher.

I am only on a 70mb connection, i can just watch 4k, but it will always default to 1080 or 480 if sommats slowing my wifi/broadband.

I don't think YT's resolution selection entirely depends on your internet speed. I'm on 250Mbit but even 2.7k chokes on my laptop due to old hardware so YT never starts out with a 1440p choice. Since I'm  on a 13" laptop, selecting 4K would not make any sense even if my HW would be brand new, since the quality of the display provides ample detail at 1080p - provided the uploaded original has decent enough bitrate/quality.

I think your phone always defaults to a 720p resolution after some time. Or when you are not in wifi.

Yeah, that is my assumption too (what it defaults to). But I feel that on my phone it always defaults to 720 no matter what the connection I'm on.
Probably still trying to save bandwidth.

That is the second thing. A lot of viewing devices don't really need 4K.
Youtube stopped sharing this, but I can only assume that more and more people are watching on their phone or tablet instead of a big screen.
