I am going to Rome and I plan to bring my DJI Mini 4 Pro with me to get some aerial photos and videos. As long as I don't exceed the European limit of 120m and I don't cause any nuisance, will it be fine? Just asking to be safe, coz I know lots of tourist attractions are no-drone zones and Europe is very strict on their drone policies

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. As relevant policies and regulations will be updated from time to time, please check local policies and regulations before flying. You could go to the following link for more information, https://fly-safe.dji.com/nfz/nfz ... Bobject%20Object%5D, thanks.

You can check the regional EU rules here - https://www.easa.europa.eu/en/li ... thorities-resources

Also dont forget to register,  and get the drone labeled with your EU operator ID.  The UK one is not useful in EU.

You will need to register here in the EU. Not 100% sure how that works for foreigners though. And remember, every country has its own set of 'b o n u s' rules.
If you plan on going to the Netherlands, I can share ours.

Yes, please do, because I think next year I might go there, so just to be safe, you can tell me a year in advance

You can better ask before going, as rules tend to change.

Check out the answer in this thread (for Venice, Italy). Sounds like a real pain.

Be careful there...

The real question is:

Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?

I have been wrong for the past 37 years... But I'm happy....
