The castle in all its moods.  Gloomy that day, but a nice composition.

Interesting contrast between the stormy sky and the colorful land beneath...

That is one threatening sky indeed. But still looks good even when it threatens.

I must confess to using a gradient mask on the ground to bring up the exposure and vibrance.

thanks DT.      No rain forecast today,   so Im going to repaint the window cill that was wrecked by the last rain shower,  then I may start fences.

Thanks DT,   I have a lot on the todo list,  already started the Beef Goulash for tonight.     A recipe I picked up from an elder lady in a cafe in Weinsberg Strasse in Cologne.

I picked up a recipe for Goulash while attending a law conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.  It consists of beef, onions, paprika, potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers. I usually season it with caraway seeds, garlic, and bay leaves,  When I slow simmer it over hours the beef just tends to fall apart an soaks in all the flavors of the spices.

I was lucky and caught it just in time,  so it went in the oven on low for a few hours so I could do other things and not worry about it.

I do like it in the oven as you get a nice even heat so sticking is much harder.

That's a great point as it is hard to keep even heat on a grill or other places than in an oven.

Usually I'll pop it in the oven and then ask the home pod for a 45 minute timer to remind me to stir.

Having that timer set takes a bit of pressure off of you having to remember when to go stir it, especially when you are multi-tasking at the time.
