Thanks, I use maps made easy it's pay as you go. I also have webodm and Zephyr3D software.

Interesting information I found on Boonton, NJ.  Boonton is a vibrant community which is grounded in its historical past. A rich cultural background has been passed down the years from immigrants who came to Boonton to work in its iron industry. Boonton has been home to abolitionists, a stop on the Underground Railroad and home of the world famous Boontonware.

I did know about he history but not Boontonware.  I had an office about 10 minutes from there in Pequannock. It's a nice area. A little rural if you grew up in NYC. But it's a pretty area for drone flights.

Probably not frustrating enough for them to get the motivation to learn things to better themselves.

Mostly low altitude mapping for repaving. We did 3 plazas in one day. This was the last one so i had a m8nute to squeeze off a few normal shots. Its not fin work but hipefully helps pay for the new equipment coming.

It just shows the heights of buildings trees and topography. Helpful to show elevations. This is a flat area but my mapping programs run them any way.  So you can see that the supermarket to the left is one story taller than the smaller shopping plaza which is one story taller than the cars. There is a color legend to go with it.

There is a legend for the colors so yes.

I think this could be very useful for if you want to dig swales that need to be on contour.

The engineers have all kinds of software to break down what's happening on the property. They can measure the piles of dirt and materials and do things we can't even think of.

I'm watching a lot of videos about people trying to prevent the water from running off their property and they usually use swales 'on contour' for that.

It looks a bit like canals, but then on contour, so water does stay in there (as much as possible) to let it sink in.

I only found out about them when I started looking at videos about helping dry land where humans have taken away all the vegetation and water could erode the soil and run off too quickly.

Yeah. It's shocking to realize what we already destroyed.
I'm watching a guy https://www.youtube.com/@dustupstexas who uses a drone too and also had one doing the measuring. But somehow it was not accurate enough for the swales.

Lot's of work goes into it. I am learning as I go. Not promising accuracy yet. Going to purchase an RTK module next. That goes on top of the M3E and gives centimeter level accuracy.
