Striking colors again in this capture.    Easily scores a 10 out of 10 for a sunrise.  

Beautiful colors, a very well composed shot.  Did you use exposure bracketing, or just took a single shot?

We don’t get skies like that in Manchester unless someone’s house is on fire - brilliant shot

I always shoot AEB3 however in this case the stupid mini 3 decided it wanted to shoot aeb5.

I popped over to the River Thames this morning to catch some of the container ships but that trip was wasted as the wind coming up the river could have knocked one people over.

Definitely sounds like yellow flag winds.  Reminds me somewhat of the super strong winds that I encountered in Northern Scotland when I was doing some base rights agreements.  They had ropes stretched between the building for you to hold onto.  Forget wearing a hat there.

Haha,  Ive never seen that before and hopefully we wont get winds that would require it.

They told me that they had to use them in winter as the winds were the strongest then coming off the North Sea.  This base was located at the northern top of Scotland in a small town called Thurso.

The sky made it worth it (to wait)
