So is Infrared easier to handle

It all depends on the reliability of the technology and its absence of interference. Apparently ultrasound turned out to be unreliable.

But how come the Mini 4 Pro still has an ultrasound sensors for bottom OA?

But if the system scans the infrared sensors every millisecond, it could potentially work.

Once again, you don't understand how scanning works. The signal is emitted at one point, then the source is shifted by one pixel and the signal is emitted again. And so you need to scan 360 degrees and build a 3D map. Every second you need to create at least 10-20 3D cards. I have already told you that very large amounts of computing power are required. Well, and most importantly, how will you deflect the beam of an infrared source to each point on a 360-degree sphere? Lidar uses a mirror)

There is no ultrasonic sensor, I advised you to read the instructions, page 14

I’m sure that if a DJI Mavic 3 Pro was equipped with LiDAR and an M3 Max chipset, it will be able to handle it.

Now I understand why they won’t hire you at DJI))) Sorry, can you tell me what your education is?

I meant that you are not a hardware designer, no offense.

Anyway, were you earlier trying to say that there is no possible solution to OA?

I don't know how to say it correctly. There are software developers and there are hardware developers, maybe I'm using the wrong terms.

And BTW he didn't completely waste the drone; it was still working. It wasn't like it was damaged beyond repair, it would just take a simple repair and he could fly it again. Also, I bet at least 200 of the 19,314 people who watched the video were thinking the same thing as you, so there is no way he is going to give a Mini 4 Pro to every one of them. That would cost at least £137,800.

True. But still. This is one of the things I don't like about YT. People do crazy things just for the views.

It's kind of a win-win situation. It's good for the YouTuber because they get views, and it's good for us because we don't have to do the same thing to see what will happen.

It's a bit too much sensation for me and not really something I am curious about

Oh. I personally like watching how different tech products from phones to laptops to drones withstand the durability tests. For me they are satisfying. Everyone's different.
