So far the cloud cover has increased a bit more,   and it windy, cold 11c but bright.

Astonishingly blue.

Windy and cold doesn't make for a great day unless you throw in a little snow.

Typical,   I made use of the rain time here to cook coq au vin.  Just need to decide what to serve it with.

A nice Beaujolais Villages would accompany it quite well.  Or better yet - a Juliénas.

I had one panel that I painted "cleaned" by the rain for me,     but Im getting close now to completing the first coat everywhere and then just some touchups required.

I can check the box for finished to cut and split the last of the wood,   just need to find 2-3 more skip bags to store it in for now as its almost coming out of my ears.

The last batch I did on Friday morning was 1 and half skip bags.    We're expecting our log man to call any day with the offer of more free wood.  Which would just be out luck.

Im goo tight for that.    I will ask a neighbour if Im offered any more if he wants some as I really dont want to turn it down if the chance comes up.

Last night we were sitting in the conservatory when a drone appeared about 60ft away,  it climbed to 400+ft and then disappeared,     about 20 minutes later it came back and landed in a garden a bit down the road.     Good to see another one about,    if the neighbour that gets the hump about these things gets involved then I can point him down the street.
