The drone was mapping the property and we whizzed by the crane and it caught this. I had a mini heart attack.

It was over to the left. By cropping it square it looks like I'm over the crane.

I hope your weather is better than mine.  I woke up to the noise of rain pouring down.  Weather forecast looks bleak until at last mid-afternoon.

These automated flights are more prone to accidents.  I like to be in control. You watch the drone more intensly when you're flying it.

It has been a challenge. I have 9 customers waiting for a nice day. The work is piling up. I'm grateful but nervous that I'll never get it done.

At least they can't pull the jobs and go to anybody else as they'd be fighting the same bad weather.

No doubt.  A company I once represented in a lawsuit kept being impatient about getting to court and getting the case settled.  I tried to tell them that the court dockets were backed up but they didn't want to hear that.  On the initial appearance the judge indicated it would be 4-6 months before a trial date.  They got impatient and dropped me.  By the time the new attorney took over the case the next court date was now 8-10 months out.  So their impatience cost them even more time.  They eventually got to court and then the judge was involved in a car accident so it got even further delayed.  No doubt they had lost all their patience by that point.

I went out today and flew in high winds to get a few of the impatient guys done

Glad you were able to get a few of the jobs in.  It was really windy here yesterday.  I did a little maintenance on my smaller 24 foot boat that I had put off during the rainy season.  I was able to tune and test out my jetski last weekend so it was time to give the 24 footer a little attention.

I flew three jobs. The winds hit 34 mph. That's the highest I've flown in. I have over 10 jobs piling up because of this weather. The nicest day is Easter Sunday and I have to do a mapping job, then three days of rain.

That's not a great forecast so I hope you get in a full days work today even though it is Easter.
