Nice find and shot DA.    Probably hasn't been there long as it looks almost new.  Maybe some of those strong winds you've had brought it to that location.

Putting my thinking hat on the nearest one is a good few miles towards Southend so if they did steal it they had a long walk with it.

On a very high tide that area would be under a metre or more of water so it could have washed-up in the last few days.

It was just around the south and south east coast,      there were a few trees downed in the local park but nothing else that I saw apart from a bent over light post.

And I found a hide-out, which I've posted a picture of

I already have a full quota after yesterday.    Instead Im 3d printing a pipe grommet for the new water tank for the C02 Laser to install later or maybe in the rain tomorrow.
