The hill in the second shot always looks better from the ground than the air,  or at least I cant get a good air shot that I like.

Probably get a better definition of the contour from ground level.

Yes,  that'd exactly what happens,  but from the air you get more of the colour from behind it.

I was thinking, maybe a vertical pano from the Mini3Pro. But that wouldn't give you the two viewpoints.

Interesting yellowish colors.

Interesting yellowish colors.

thanks Depp,    its interesting how the sun now rises is much further north than it was just a few weeks back and with that the colours and transition from darkness to light has really changed.

Looking at cloudy, light winds but a high of 28C.  Sure wish I could send a bit of the warmth your wear.

Maybe summer 2025 I'll get back to European locations.  Looking at a few islands in the Pacific for a visit this summer.

I think that will be the year we start again assuming C19 doesnt get worse again.     Was a little tempted yesterday to visit Belfast of all places.

This popped up as there was cheap day flights there for £40 each and theres a titanic centre which looked interesting.    Sadly my local airport doesnt fly there.

Seems many of the good deals have so many "catches" to them that they are hard to take advantage of.

The old 1p flights that used to get offered here had a big catch and that was you still had to pay the  taxes on the flights separately.

We only managed it once for flights to Rome,    and then on the day I wasnt feeling well so we didnt go.  If wed paid full price I would probably have made more of an effort.

It's a shame that didn't work out as there is so much to see and do in Rome.

Yes,  it was on the list and we had planned to take the train from Tuscany down when we were there last but the train times were horrible.

I've been to Rome 4 times now and still have seen only a miniscule part of the city.

Well Rome was wall to wall tourists on all 4 of my visits.
