We own several S900/S1000 and of course inspire one.

Can you please consider an adapter to make the X5 / X5R  compatible on s900 and lightbridge 2 ?

It will be greate to see it working on s900 with e1200.

Also it will be great to use the X5 on the ronin-m.

It's a shame that DJI does not care about the ppl that use their flight systems and lightbridge. I own A2 and i would like to use Z5R with my custom-made hexacopter frame. I am very disappointed .And in the description of A2 you can clearly see "Ideal for DJI video downlink, iOSD, Ground Station, Zenmuse gimbals. Compatible with future products." WTF DJI ?

Dji you need to look after people that have invested heavily in your flagship products that are not that far in the past.. a bit of backwards compatibility would go a long way for you. especially if you want your spreading wings series to keep selling.

DJI as completely ignored the people who spent thousands on the lightbridge/s900/s1000. Never a good thing.

can someone from Dji tell me why anyone would now bother to buy an S900 or S100 without being able to have the same level of functionality and camera control that users of the Inspire and phantom series enjoy. Tahoe Ed, you told me that if I want a professional rig to buy the S900 or S1000 rather than the Inspire. If spreading wings is the professional line of Dji products then why won't Dji support that line the way they do their consumer line products? the only thing this inspires is disgust and disloyalty

Any buy back system or exchange with DJI Inspire Pro is available for DJI S900 with A2 & Zenmuse Z15(GH4-HD), Please let us know so we can able to update and grow with DJI. People we are invested more money in DJI S900/S1000.

Despite  such attempt would not be considered professional, you can always mount Osmo+X5R on S900/S1000 ;)  But we will wait for that too, as Osmo mount for X5 is still unavailable... Nowdays all pros are pushed towards X5 and X5R, despite these product are still unproven (an still under development, there are so many unfinished functions in X5)... I own Inspire 1 Pro with X5, and I would take GH4 on any serious shoot... Really hope that will change with firmware updates in next months, by release of X5R...

Any update on when the adapter and or support for A2 and LB2?  I have literally been fighting my self not to buy a x5r. I have had it it with the black magic PP horrible battery life and limited cam control (even worse now on LB2). It still doesn't make sense to me DJI didn't offer us (spreading wings)this right away? Please DJI I'm begging you take more of my money!

Some way of fitting the X camera series to our big birds , S900 in my case .

Is there anything happening soon to enable this ?

Sadly , it's all becoming clear .

Many of us on here who are flying the flagship professional kit , or so we thought , have been ' out flagged ' by the release of the new Matrice 600.

Everything on it is what we have all been asking about for some time .

I'm actually quite angry and upset as i write this , feeling let down by DJI , and i'm sure i won't be the only one .

Please tell me what is the fundamental difference between the M600 and the S900 .

Have A2 set up on my S900 , is the A2 upgradeable to A3 ?

Will the new range of gimbals fit the S900 ?

DJI Go app for S900 ?

The list goes on .

Seemingly spent thousands of pounds on something that is now redundant .

Some considerartion would be appreciated , to all the people ,
who  in essence , have paid your wages at DJI , funded your Research and development and allowed you to grow and evolve .

The new A3 is compatible with the S900 and Z15 gimbals...  check out the A3 Specs document.

First post on any forum what so ever, thought I would give my two cents.

It appears anatomically the mount for the gimbals is the same size across the fleet, S900 S1000, and the 600.

It then becomes a matter of communication protocol. All the Zenmuse Gimbals and the new Ronin MX communicate over the A3 controller and Lightbridge.

My deduction is: if you have a aircraft with Lightbridge 2, A3 flight controller and is cabable of fitting the zenmuse line of gimbals and the Ronin MX you are good to go.

But like I said, just me deduction . .  .

The Z15 Gimbals can talk to the A2 and the A3. If DJI wants, the X5 can do the same.

Not yet available, yes they told me the same.
And they told me it's not clear if you can mount die X5 to the S900 with this adapter or only to the M600.
Very sad.

come on DJI give us something back, We S900 owners would really like to spend some more on a X5 camera if it fits our platform, maybe we get some dust of it! Surely this can be done if you ever intend to,
Changing to the A3 controller is way too much, we would like to use the A2 that we have, :-(

Not to mention it is illegal to use the ronin MX in the air in the US???  I would even love to take the dust off my 550 flame wheel and put the pro line cameras on it, why have they not done this!  I've invested 10s of thousands of dollars on my 550 and my S900 and they were destroyed by the Phantom 4 for practicality.  I hope they realize this soon before they lose advanced cinematographers.  Under promise, OVER deliver DJI, keep customers coming back....

and connect to the S1000 with A3? even with some arrangements.
