Helly everyone. Lately (since the last firmware update that came out a few months ago) I have been getting a NO GPS MODULE error. I usually hapens on my second flight (after replacing the battery for second flight, but it is not battery related). Drone just wont acquire satellites, they stay at 0 satellites, and after a while, a red message pops up saying NO GPS module (or is it ''gps module not installed''). Strangely no error codes, just that little message on top left corner of screen.

After powering the drone and remote on and off for few times it works normally.

Also, sometimes I get gimbal motor oveloaded before flight, but that one dissapears by itself as soon as I take off (I do take off camera protection)

I have had mini 3 pro for almost 2 years and I am one of those ''careful with equipment'' guys, I take care of my stuff, drone has never fallen or hit anything, I use my hand for lunch and landing, so no dust or anything...

Anyone experinced this ? I tried recalibrating IMU

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble. If I may ask to confirm, is it the error code 30098? Thank you.

That's never going to do anything to fix the issue you mentioned.
It sounds like you have a loose GPS connection.

If you are not afraid of losing the warranty, you can open the back cover of the drone. The GPS module is located on top and connected to the connector. There is no need to solder anything, check the connector, remove it and put it back in.

According to the videos, the connectors are glued in place.

Sorry for the late response guys,

@DJI Tony lucky me, I've tried to get the error again, but no luck, It worked fine. I'll try again in the next few days so i'll let you know.

@Serg SSA I'll try another firmware refresh and recalibrate everything, first time error reapears I'll disassemble it, I fix laptops and electronics so it shouldn't be a problem for me, and check the connection.

@ Drone.Hunter it is connected via small slot and flat cable, check here:

Because the problem kept reappearing every few flights (no GPS module), I removed the drone top cover (2 screws) and it was quite easy (followed the video guide posted above), but plastic is pretty tin and sensitive so you have to be gentle and slow....

I disconnected the GPS module and cleaned the connector with isopropyl alcohol and reconnected it a bit tighter. No problem for almost a month, so it should be fixed for me.

The problem reapeared again, and last time turning it on and off din't help, it just kept saying no GPS module.
In the end I have tested it with another module and bought it, now it flies without issues.

Hey I have a Dji mini 3, and after replacing both front arms I got this message which said power system hardware error 30210.
Does anyone know what the issue could be? I checked and the esc is plugged in. I did heat the board up a lot. When I need to melt the glue for soldering the new arms.
