A Sunrise SUPer......

Since Mr @Blériot53 mentioned SUP's this morning I thought Id share this shot I caught of one heading out to seal point at sunrise.

Thanks DT,   its a shame about the flooding that came after this,   the forecast was only for a 5.9m but from the flooded roads near the river it must have been much higher,   Im wondering if the eclipse had something to do with it.

The water all receded fine but there was a lot of debris left behind.   No boats this time though.

No doubt when the water receded it left a few surprises.  Just gives a few more opportunities to target with the drone.

I counted about 9 fenders washed up which seemed a lot to me.

That does seem like a lot.  No doubt the storm packed some really strong winds.

It is also amazing here what you can find on the beach following a storm.  Although the top of a bikini may not have been the cause of that item being deposited on the beach.    I used to like to meta detect following a good storm as that was an opportune time to find things that the rough waves had brought ashore.

Ive only ever found a fishing rod washed up on the shore,  nothing else of interest and then I had to give back the fishing rod as the GF at the time told everyone at the yacht club and the owner came forward.

There were some row boats practising that the Mini wanted to chase but I was up a ladder with a paint brush so couldnt send it out.
