I don’t understand the note about adding Wireless Streaming. That was already available. Or is it available in more regions now or something?

Also in the US and saw the update. Make sure you’ve updated DJI Fly itself.

That's for being able to stream video TO the Goggles 3 via DLNA, like you could with Goggles 2. Probably the least useful feature DJI ever implemented in any of their products

Ahh ok, thanks for clarifying. Yeah don’t really see myself wearing these goggles for recreational media viewing!

Make sure your phone/tablet has the latest version of the fly app installed before attempting the FW update or it won't show

Has someone experimenting problems to upgrade the Goggles 3 firmware on the DJI Assistant 2?

I have tried in different computers with different internet connections, unistalling and installing again the DJI Assistant 2 and the problem persists.

I have also tried to do the upgrade on the DJI Fly and the firmware update isn't detected.

It seems that it is not available from DJI Assistant 2(before you ask yes i do have the correct and latest version of DJI Assistant 2 app). Tried also from wifi connecting everything together plus mobile ,nothing again.

If you go into settings of DJI Fly, there's a button there to force checking for updates and that should work.

And news if this update fixes the date/time issue?

I'm also waiting for the O3 Air Unit compatibility.

The moment this is compatible, I'll place an order for the Avata2.

No way man. The last firmware version stucks on the V01.00.0100 and it's impossible to upgrade to the V01.00.0200

Please DJI! I have bought two 03 air units. One for a long range drone I want to build, the other for an RC car. After I bought these I tried to  get a Goggles 2 or v2 but where I live where impossible to get. Then the avata 2 came out so I bought it and now I have a Goggles 3. Please make it compatible with my two 03 air units otherwise would be so sad I have to sell the air units ...

Hi, Genas. Thank you for reaching out. Avata 2 is now compatible with with DJI RC Motion 2 and DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 when used with DJI Goggles Integra and DJI Goggles 2. Please update the drone to Firmware: V01.00.0300 and DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 to Firmware： V02.00.1000. Hope this helps.

I have already solved the problem. Goggles updated

To everyone confused how to update: REinstall the DJI Fly app on your mobile device (the update is not available in the Assistant 2!!!). Do not check for updates for the app, just go reinstall the most current version linked from the DJI downloads website. After that, turn on all your Avata 2 gear and let it connect, plug in the goggles with a usb-c cable to your mobile device with the new DJI Fly app running and update the Avata 2 and goggles 3 when prompted in the upper right corner of the app.

Why do you make an update that lets you fly the new drone with the old goggles and remote control? But can't you make the O3 compatible with the G3? That would be the most important update. Then so many people would be happy. Of course, for people who have old goggles or an old motion controller, it makes sense to just buy the Avata 2, but why am I always forced to use the old goggles when I want to fly with the O3 drones?? Please solve this important problem. Make the G3 compatible with the O3!!

I'd also love to have O3AU support, but from business perspective shipping this functionality first (and who says O3AU support isn't coming right after it?) totally makes sense as now they can finally start selling standalone Avata 2. No one forced you to buy the Avata 2 combo and it was stated very clearly that it is currently not compatible with anything apart from listed models. If you wanna be on the cutting edge, you need to be prepared to get cut sometimes.

Agree. For marketing, sales. Problem is still no standalone Avata 2s at the DJI Store. If I crash and trash. Prefer not to have to purchase a combo kit.  Maybe a few container loads of stand alone A2 waiting to be released now with the latest firmware update?

That's why DJI Care exists, you can replace it really cheap up to 6 times if you have the service active instead of having to pay full price.

But yeah, standalone Avata should hit the shelves any day now.

Some of us. Actually the only other person I actually  have a real vs. online connection that flies DJI platforms have the same feeling about DJI Care.  At least for now and if DJI does not actually stock stand alone Avata2s. The need to purchase a combo kit to replace a trashed drone is to promote their "Care", like as we care to generate more revenue either way.  That is, through "Care" or combo sales.  Why neither of us opted for the "Care".  

If anyone who probably should of. I'm a good candidate for DJI Care.  The terrain I fly over, how I fly, past history. I will eventually crash and trash the Avata2.  Personal choice to risk flying without "insurance".  Old guys, maybe old fools, old school mentality of build or buy, fly, crash, repair, repeat until needing to trash and replace.  

Please - Pretty Please make Goggles 3 compatible with O3 air unit !!!
As My goggles V2 happened not to be able to record OSD and finding an O3 FPV is not easy this way. And I'll not buy Goggles 2 or Integra when I already have Goggles 3 with my Avata 2
Please DJI - have a look at customer opinions - Half of the posts here demand O3 compatibility

That i just bought.. and they didn’t evan release the o4 so all my fpv drons are useless since i sold my v2 googles whit the avata and bought the new avata .. thinking of dumping the dji system all together.. I had enough

DJI ist ein gewinnorientiertes Unternehmen, keine wünsch dir "warme Ei...scher" Bude. Die verkaufen soviele Neugeräte, glaubst die berufen gleich eine Krisensitzung ein, wegen dem Gewinsel von ein paar Hanserln? Da stecken vlt. nicht nur ökonomische Gründe dahinter, die werden möglicherweise auch Entwicklungsresourcen entsprechend einteilen müssen. Wenn die Entwickler grad mit was anderem beschäftigt sind (z.B. O4 Air Unit oder was miltärischem oder was weiß ich) dann muss Abwärtskompatibilität eben hinten anstehen. Genauso gut ist möglich dass es noch technische Probleme gibt.

Die von DJI verkauften Produkte Avata2 / Air3 / Mini4Pro / Goggle3 funktionieren übrigens wunderbar miteinander. Mehr wurde von DJI nie angekündigt oder versprochen! Aber einige hier sind scheinbar nicht in der Lage die frei zugängliche Kompatibilitätsmatrix sinnerfassend zu lesen, schlimmer noch, verkaufen blindlings ihre alten Goggles zugunsten der neuen (siehe Vorposter). Ehrlich, solchen Leuten gehört's nicht anders.

Sorry wenn ich etwas direkt wurde, aber mir geht dieses Gedisse und Geflenne und das ewige "dann wechsel ich halt zu bla bla" langsam auf'n Zeiger...
