Hi,
i recevied my 100 and assembled it according manuals and videos.
I also went first through all firmware updates, all without issues.

Also did the IMU calibration.
Went outside and did the compass calibration, all well.
DJI Go said all ok, safe-to-fly - GPS.

So not wanting to take risks, first pressed the take off button.
Reaction as expected.... BUT.....
As soon as it reached 1.2m it started to drift to the right front side and flew away.
I was able to get it back using the remote and land it, although a bit rough, so already my first rubber foot broke.
The display showed compass calibration error on the red middle top afterwards.

So i am stuck. What can i do? I apparently cannot trust the app saying compass calibration is ok? First want to know potential reasons before i try next time, do not want to crash my expensive machine....

thanks,
Raoul

Hi,

We have more or less the same problem.
After press the take off button and it reaches 1.2m it started going ahead without doing anything else.
In our case it crashed when we tried to land.
We tried two times, and in both of times it crashed landing.

Any solution?

What type of surface are you flying off of? Anything that could contain metal?

Hello, It sounds like some type of magnetic interference causing the compass error.  Make sure you don't have any metallic items in your pockets etc... I have had a cell phone cause a compass error on my inspire before. Make sure when you do your compass calibration that you are not near any metal buildings, power lines etc... It could also be a bad compass, uhhhhh I know that is a lot of could be's... Any way I hope it helps in some way.

Best regards
Ralph
