My 1 week old m4p has always shown the 3 flight modes a S for sport, N for normal and C for Cine. After my update today, there is no more N for normal but a P mode. Am I missing something as I thought that was an old  phrase used not an updated one. I am sure someone here is going to point out my ignorance but I just was not sure why the P replace the N right after update. thanks

Yes, noticed the same after the new firmware update. Not sure why DJI reverted back to the P mode, ie Program mode. But its the same as Normal mode. The other modes work as expected and are displayed correctly.

I confirm this on my RC remote. After yesterday's RC update I see a different N name profile, it is P now. The problem is not with the drone.

Just updated mu Mini4Pro.

Wow, took ages this time to update, and some chinese text on my screen :-)

And the first time, at approx 85% i had to restart the drone self  as the update proces was stuck on 85%...i waited for minutes and minutes, decided to start the drone myself. Update continues  pffff

yes it took a long time and I also had to restart, Most i have talked to did not think it was a good idea for the rc2 screen to say p mode which was the old way and to also have a different selection on the switch that says N for normal, too many things you have to learn anyway so why if you are a new drone pilot would you add that possible confusion?

Must be 'mistake' by DJI to change N mode to P mode.
On the controller the 3 mode switch shows C-N-S, so logicly this must be seen on the screen as well.

It´s fixed in the current Fly App 1.13.1
Until now not available for the RC2.
