Hi folks,

I searched on the web and still can't figure out why avata 2 is cheaper than the original.
While all posts admited that avata 2 is better than the original in anyway in every aspect, but the current retail price (Apr-2024) really confuse me.
In this situation what makes people prefer to buy the original avata over the avata2? Is the reason(s) outweight the avata2 pros??

Your post is a bit hard to read... New product are always cheaper compare to the older version as they get to share parts/components in the production line, so the R&D is also cheaper...

Sharing R&D reasons that makes new product cheaper, but i still can't understand why original avata price is still higher than avata2 ? I am talking about current price on this april 2024, not the price at their respective launching time.

Here the Avata 1 is reduced compared to the Avata 2 assuming you can find some stock.

Yes, even avata1 price reduced to the lowest point ever in history, but still higher than avata2 launching price.

Not here,   the Avata 1 combo is £749 but the Avata 2 Combo is £1049

(Same basic combo 1 battery, goggles3, Mc3)

But the avata 1 was reduced to clear so there were really good deals. and the leaks have been out for months now on the avata 2.
