It's bright and cheery here but the winds are picking up again.   Forecast to get to 28mph later.

I like how you framed the shot DA.  Nice golden rays, Y-bend in the river, mud flats...a little of everything in that shot.  

The weathers definitely getting better where I am (warmer) today anyway - maybe you need a little filter to make it look like the Sahara

It was quite warm in the end but my afternoon flight for high tide was cut short by the gusty wind.

We spent a good part of the day in the NFZ for Manchester airport, on what turned out to be the best day's weather we've had for a while.

Typical,   you can blame me for the weather,   since I put down grass seed at the MIL it's not rained.

Bits of tinfoil tied to sticks stuck in the ground is supposed to keep the birds off.

It wont as thats where the MIL feeds them.

Cheers new wood up and a coat of paint applied,  SWMBOd is stacking her log delivery and now Ive got to figure out how to stop the fox getting on the house roof and chewing the phone cable.

Got my fingers crossed that you get your hands on the Avata 2 today.  Of course it may take you a little time to get it all charged and activated.  I do like the looks of the Goggles 3 and in a couple of videos they remarked that they are much more comfortably than previous versions.

Its not looking good so far,   I should get a text to collect with a security code but so far its not arrived,  and Im torn whether to head up there anyway on the off chance it comes later.

I finally got the goggles set for my eyes,   I was struggling with the adjustment until I went through the tutorial and realised they were on my face too low.

Currently Im only setup with a 30watt charger for my drone charging area and they recommend 65w for these to its takes a bit longer.     And then I have all the firmwares to update.
