There was some cropping there,   didnt want to scare the man into falling into the sea with the drone noises.

Nice capture DA.    Reminds me of that old fisherman saying:  “Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught”  

I love to fish but don't always catch something.  Sometimes, when the water is quiet, you can almost hear the fish laughing at you.

We had been fishing with this bread soaked in a lure oil and had no luck,  we were backing up and there was little cove where we had fished where I had thrown the left over soaked bread,   next thing I hear a slurping and its this monster carp that slurped the bread into its mouth in one go. I was too slow with the net.

That's truly sad.  You may have missed out on a record setting carp.  Still makes for a good story.
