OMG, that was some epic, exhilarating and crazy flying.  I loved it when the train's engineer peekd out and saw the drone and then shut his window.  Flying under the train was spectacular.  That's is one of the longest trains I've seen.  No doubt he used up a whole battery on that flight.

I thought you may have seen that one. It's quite old now. Every time I watch it I'm just staggered by the dexterity exhibited. That guy should have gone to Top Gun Academy

Not at all.
It's just my big nose for trains I guess.

Nothing wrong with that at all.  Great hobby to have.

He definitely had the skills to get there for sure.  I'm just wondering how many drones he went through to gain those mad flying skills.  Fortunately, he never got caught or he would have owed a ton of money in fines for violations in just that one video alone.

Very tidy indeed,  and the Air conditioning implies it will get a lot of actual use?

Like all the signal boxes around here, it's manned.

I find that really weird coming from an area where they are all computerised and centralised. .  You're ways much nicer though.

The rolling stock around here is all diesel, too.  I think the automated boxes are on the electrified lines.

That would make sense I suppose.  Did I mention I went down last week to capture the steam train only to find it had been cancelled and as usual wasnt due to pickup the steam engine until after London.

I knew you'd been out there, but I didn't know it was about the steam train.
That's annoying.

Anonymity does have its advantages.  However, with all the facial recognition software in use by several federal agencies no doubt when he pulled off the goggles at the end of the video he could have been easily recognized.  Oh well, it is what it is.

Nice! I use to track the development of a private housing estate in trent park, north London over a 4 year period with my old drones. It's amazing to see mud pits turn into luxury homes.

The're a development I've been following since Autumn 2022. It's well advanced now. I must do another flyover of the site soon.
