Nice place. The Avata in N or S is a great drone for slow and steady proximity (as it can easily hover when you need a pause). Don't see anything about focus.

Nice and steady. Are you getting a feel for it now? Which controller were you using?  That expanse of bluebell woods is huge. Nothing like that near here. Video appeared rather pixellated - even when I switched up to 1080 from the default 720

Thats with the FPV controller.   And yes I thought the footage was glitchy,  the other video Im about to post doesnt appear to have the issue.

I filmed 4k 30 and from the reviews Im seeing that should be 4k 60 for better results.

PS the bluebells there were much better to the eye than the camera as always.  I dont think that video does them justice.

There was an article in a magazine my mum saved about them being extra early this year so keep an eye on them.

I do recall but they come and go so fast.

Lashing down with rain here now,  SWMBOd is furious as its not forecast at all for today and Im furious as shes just managed to deconstruct the shoe rack. We now have a huge heap of wood and shoes in the utility room.

Its quite depressing when all the plans for the day are going out of the window quick,   judging by the wind and rain the avata practice later is off the cards and SWMBOd has left me a lovely mess to deal with.

Ive gone back and checked the raw footage from the drone and there is no pixel issues so something has gone wrong with joining and reordering on my end.

Rain has stopped here, and the sun is out. It's become very windy though.

I see it. Hard to judge what's the reason for that. Unfortunately with Rocksteady it's baked in so you can't compare it turned on and off.

I should have replied earlier.  I went back to the original footage and its not in there,  seems something I did when I merged the two files into one.

Wow, what an expansive patch of bluebells.    Don't take this as negative but they are still not quite as vivid in color as the ones you filmed last year.  Guessing it is still early in the season.  Seems you had the place almost to yourself.

Thanks DT.   Problem with Bluebells is that they disappear on camera,    they were really really nice and probably thicker than last years,   its just the cameras do no do them justice.   It's quite frustrating.

It is the strangest thing that to the eye they are amazing and through the lens they disappear, its like the camera treats blue less equally than green.

Just got to the MIL and found someone has crashed into the wall on her drive way and knocked off the corner,    looks like I have a new repair job coming up.

It depends,    I have a plan to cheat if I can life out whats there.  Basically the corner of the wall has been knocked out in once piece,  so if I can move it,  chip out all the old motor course.  Make up new mortar and sit the whole piece back pretending its just one brick Id get away with it,   but due to the weight I think it might sink too much so Im going to 3d print some little spacers to put in the motor course to stop it sinking too far.

Quicker and cheaper than having to run to a store and try and find what you need.

Im not sure Id find these in a store.    Maybe shims or kitchen fitting that Id have to slice up would be the closest thing I can think of.
