Yes,   Im very thankful for that.

I've seen a couple of videos where the crash ended up in the water.  One was able to recover the Avata 2 to send in and the other was lost in the ocean.  So crash on land is not good but better than in the water.

I promise not to practice manual mode over water for some time   

Very smooth, controlled flying there Daf - nicely done. What areas have you found to be the best for practice flying the Avata 2?

I can't blame you for holding off until you have more experience with the Avata 2 and have gained full confidence in your flying skills and then on to manual mode.  It would really be great if a simulator existed where you could work on manual mode ahead of time.

Yep, Im really disappointed they discontinued the virtual flight app.

out of curiosity: have you done tests between DJI rocksteady and processing the unstabilized footage with Gyroflow? is the increase in quality worth the extra image processsing?

Makes you wonder what valid reason they had to discontinue it, especially with releasing the Avata 2 right after killing the App.

Ive done a little bit of testing and I think gyroscope does a better job and on my machine its pretty quick,  well it was at 30fps,  60fps take a bit longer.

Well done,  Ive been running about today non stop getting things ready for the holiday.

Got a lot done yesterday, in between family business.
Almost to the point where I wanted to be, but I had to stop because it was getting too late and I was not 'fresh' for some important caulking beads.

Most important lesson I learned when learning how to plaster,  knowing when to stop and come back later and polish it.
