It's a bit of a fight to keep it level and if you watched until the 6 minute mark you'll see my nemisys.

I just looked again?
I saw the birds - did you collide?  It wasn't evident.
And then I saw the famous boat

At 6 minutes roughly the oyster catcher comes past quite close.    But since adding those red squares he's left the mini alone.

I may just do a stripe on this one as the props are lower,  that said this drone will do 60 mph so I should b able to out run the pesky birds.

You are definitely putting the Avata 2 through its paces.  It appears to have been quite the windy day.  I got a kick out of seeing the "permanent boat" towards the end of the video.  You are for sure getting the hang of FPV flying.

How windy was? It looks like it is so hard to keep horizon steady. I think i will not buy avata 2 due to that instability and Avata one due to the noise.

You're joking. They can reach 90mph.

I wonder if the rather jerky motion is because in N/S the drone stabilizes itself. Couldn't Gyroflow make it more stable?

That was stabilised with Gyroflow.    Theres some discussion on Mad Techs stream last night about how wobbly it flys and some people are complaining about it.

They were out in force this morning again,  but they do seem to give the modified Mini 3 a wider birth now.

It certainly doesnt appear to be making things worse,  I think I will add some to the avata.

I ripped it along this stretch of water yesterday really low at high tide,      quite the rush,     and as I came in to land I spotted a chap walking so I held off and hoovered at a distance to let him pass,    but he stopped and asked lots of questions,   so I landed we had a good chat,  he loved it,  thought it was like a mini UFO.  

I have been running into a problem in "high wind " when flying my Avata 2 in M mode. The drone will kick me back to N mode when it recognizes wind. It is supper annoying. Does anyone know what is going on with that and if there is a workaround?
