It's also pretty sad that there has been no firmware updates for the Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Pro in ages.

My Power 1000 arrived a few days ago. I updated it to the latest firmware successfully. I have completed two charge/discharge cycles using the gentle 600W charge rate. I have measured the capacity by discharging with a purely resistive load (60W incadescent light bulb). I have also verified that the power consumption of the light as indicated by the Power 1000 matches that measured by an external watt meter.

I have done several measurements and the capacity of the battery is approximately 700 Wh when powering a 60 Watt light bulb.

This seem low compared to the 1024 Wh specification. Do I have a bad unit or is there something I'm missing?

I am having the same problem. I was running a small cool box which was drawing 6W, It went from 100% to 0% within 36 hours..

Furthermore, I do not have the option of operating Power 1000 with 110 or 120 V. Power 1000 says “load”, I connect Power 1000 to the computer via USB and supply Power 1000 with power. I am logged into the software, but nothing happens. I cannot find any further instructions. Perhaps you can give me a hint.

You have the wrong app, you need the power app. DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series)

Method 1: Easily update using the DJI Fly app
Method 2: Use DJI Assistant 2 to address complex scenarios
You can refer to the steps to update your firmware here : Updating Your Drone Firmware

For Power 1000 try the steps below;
1. If the device is powered on, shut it down. If unable to shut down, press and hold for 5 seconds to force a shutdown.
2. To enter firmware update mode, press and hold the AC button while simultaneously holding the power button when the device is turned off.
3. Try to update the firmware via DJI Assistant 2.
Refer to the Firmware Update section in the user manual. Before the update, install DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series) on your computer.
