Hi, George. We have confirmed that the most updated version of RC 2 is 1.13.0. Please feel free to use it. The 1.13.1 is for mobile devices to solve some known issues on mobile devices. Hope this helps.

https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=294639

Announcement is here:

The situation is similar with Mini 4.
But unfortunately, the administrators are handling the topic very carelessly and there are a lot of mistakes.
Please note that even the drone firmware version date does not correspond to reality. In the Assistant it is indicated correctly and it is 2024.04.19 and in the topic on the forum it is 2024.04.23
The situation is the same with the Fly version, it is listed incorrectly for the RC 2 remote control. The remote control has version 1.13.0

Please clarify what the firmware date actually is for Mini 4?
What is the Fly version for the RC 2 remote control?

I just checked and firmware update shows  v01.00.0500.  However, DJI Fly app still shows v.1.13.0 on the RC2.  Something amiss here for sure.

This may be 500 this is the firmware of the drone, and the Fly version may change after the firmware of the RC 2 remote control or a separate update as promised.

Nope, the FW update did NOT update the Fly app on the RC2. to V1.13.1.  Still at 1.13.0 and still
showing P mode of flight instead of N for normal

You're absolutely right.  The FW did update but didn't change the P vs N.  The update announcement was wrong in that it reported V1.13.1 but when I actually looked at the RC2 it still said V1.13.0.

Now we are back at the mercy of DJI to get out another update for both the P vs N and the most up to date Fly version.

There is a difference between firmware for the drone (M4P currently at 1.00.0500), which deals with the functionality of the drone, the firmware of RC2 (currently 02.02.0000) which deals with the complete functionality of the remote (in essence an Android device) and the DJI Fly app which is the controlling software. A drone firmware update will almost never change anything you see on the remote - it could/should change the behaviour of the drone. A new version of the Fly app is necessary for changed user interface or additional functionality. So, for instance, the 'P mode' problem is an UI problem, introduced in DJI Fly 1.13.0 and solved in 1.13.1.

At least until now an update of the DJI Fly app on the RC2 required an update of the firmware, but with 02.02.00 that should have been solved. However, the RC2 will check for an update at a specific DJI location, so as long as a new version is not published at that location the RC2 will stick with the running version. 1.13.1 has never been made available to RC2 - not via a firmware update, nor via a separate app update. In the meantime, another DJI Fly update has seen the light (1.13.2, DJI site incorrectly still states it is 1.13.1). Perhaps now, finally, this version will be made available to the RC2....

Hi, Serg SSA. Do you mean Mini 4 Pro? If yes, please refer here: New DJI Mini 4 Pro Firmware Released (04/23/2024). The current  and most updated version of DJI Fly in RC 2 is 1.13.0

Yes. We know. The main question is why DJI Fly 1.13.2 has not been rolled out to the RC2.

Additionally, quite a lot of people complain about a laggy RC2 with the current firmware, so an update solving this would be greatly appreciated.

The first post of the topic you refer to contains wrong information (regarding publishing date of firmware and different DJI Fly versions on different platforms.

Thank you for your feedback, Frank071. Currently, we don't have information as to why the 1.13.2 version has not been rolled out yet to the RC 2 but we will forward your feedback to our relevant team.

Regarding your other concern about wrong information, the Release Date of DJI Mini 4 Pro's v01.00.0500 was 2024.04.23, the same as with the link provided above. Also, the DJI Fly version when that firmware was released was v1.13.1. The V1.13.2 of DJI Fly was only updated on 2024.04.28 which was later than the firmware version update of the Mini 4 Pro.

This is not so, just open this version in the Assistant and you will see that its date is 2024.04.19

Thank you for patiently waiting, Serg SSA. We have confirmed that it is normal for the dates seen from the DJI Assistant 2 to be inconsistent as the firmware will be released in grayscale at the initial stage.
