This is the first report I've seen of the battery ejecting in an Avata 2. He did slam the pipe pretty hard but I thought it looked like the  batterries were locked in a bit better on the 2.

20+mph into a metal pipe and probably fell down backwards onto concrete. I've lost batteries secured to 5" FPV drones with 2 kevlar straps and a supper grippy battery pad in less severe crashes, nothing to see here

The batteries are locked in far better than the Avata 1. Nothing is fool-proof, especially in South Philly. Billy, Billy, Billy....
