I took this two years ago on a trip to Southport, NC.   I liked it so much I just sold my house and will be moving there in the middle of May, so many more photos of the place coming. For anyone interested, Southport, NC by air.

Southport is really lovely.  I was looking for a really good diving spot.  I did a few dives off Bald Head Island near the mouth of the Cape Fear River.  I heard about two sunken dredges just off Wilmington so I took a short drive up and then an hour boat ride out to the site.  Turned out to be a really interesting dive.

I really hope so. We had our place built in a community 19 years ago with the plan of retiring there. Fast forward 19 years and we are executing on that plan. Feeling a bit freaked out

Since retiring, diving has become my true passion.  It keeps me in good shape and I get to see lots of things that I wouldn't be able to see from the surface.
