Hello all,
What is the White triangles (in the center and bottom of the images) pointing???
(I see them flying indoors and outdoors)
Do you also see those white triangles?

Indoors

Outdoors

I think I remember seeing in a video that the triangle when using the motion controller that the triangle indicates the direction in which the drone is heading.  Of course I could be wrong as I don't own the Avata 2 so can confirm that is the case.  Hopefully, somebody will come along and say that is it or that I'm wrong and what it actually is.

Shows which way the drone is heading.  If you hear something out of your left ear while the drone is flying forward, you'll know which way to turn the drone to go to your left.

Look at the thumbnail in the post in the above link.  The pilot is sitting on the bench and the drone is pointing to his left and slightly to the rear so if he continue ahead with that flight, should miss him by going slightly behind him.

I can assure you that:
- is not the drone's compass;
- It's not pointing north;
- It's not indicating the direction of the aircraft;
- it's not showing the home point;
- it's not the direction in which the drone is heading;
- Nobody in DJI is knows what is the triangle pointing!!!

It will be very useful if is show us the same that we have on others DJI products, like this picture, showing the position of the drone relative to our position.

Thank you for patiently waiting. When the DJI avata 2 is used with the Goggles 3 in the EU region, there will be an aircraft attitude display. This is a Geo-Awareness function in the EU region. It is made to comply with the EU C1 certification requirements. The white arrow icon represents the aircraft. The icon will show the direction of the aircraft. Please note that this is only applicable within the EU region and does not apply in other regions (including Mainland China). Hope this helps.

Dear Paladin, what you are saying only makes sense if you told us “ the direction of the aircraft relative to a certain referencial”; what referencial is that? North??? No! The goggles??? No!
So is not showing nothing except a dancing triangle…
Please tell your engineers to follow my suggestion…

Same for me. Does not indicate where home point is, does not indicate north, does not indicate anything of value. All it does is take up display space for no purpose whatsoever. If only there was an option to remove it.

Is it possible to disable the box within the EASA regions? It makes no sense to the pilot at all but beeing another icon that just disturbs

Sheesh the EU is a treasure trove of senseless & needless regulations.  Imagine the amount of hoops involved in installing a bobby in the EU?
