Is it just me, or is placing the microSD card into the Goggles 3 slot very difficult?
I'm assuming like the drone the card needs to be pushed in "upside down" with contacts facing up right?
I think I got it pushed all the way in, but now, my fingernails can't get the card out!

Is it like this for everyone or am I doing something wrong here ?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. The SD card should be inserted on the same side as the SD card symbol on the goggles:

If the SD card is stuck, we suggest sending it back to DJI for checking. You may submit a repair request here (https://www.dji.com/global/support). The warranty can be applied depending on the assessment's outcome, including your unit's warranty period. Have a nice day.

You don't pull the card out with your fingernails, you push it in again to eject.

Thanks for your the replies.  I ended up using the edge of another micro sd card to be able to push the card back out.  My fingernails are too short!

yes, it is tricky to get it out. My method is to use the corner of another microSD to press of the one already in the slot. This works for me.

It's the most idiotic design choice. I'm literally trying to put my new card into the headset now and it's a nightmare.

My solution is to not remove the SD Card but to connect the goggles to my laptop and retrieve the files.  I do the same with the Avata.  Avata doesn't need to be turned on to retrieve the files.  I have powered up the goggles to get the files.

Pals,
I have the same problem. The card can be inserted but cannot be ejected by pressing it again rather is stuck in the slot. Fundamental question: not every microSD card slot has a spring mechanism. Does the Goggles 3 definitely have one?

Cheers

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Thanks for the feedback, but that doesn't entirely answer my question. I am also unable to remove the card from the slot.

Of course DJI’s answers absolutely useless. Typical send it in. Hey how about give us an answer on how to figure it out without sending it in. That’s all you guys ever say it. Just send it in.    I have the same goggles and we’re not idiots when you push the card and usually it feels spring loaded so you push it in and it clicks and then you push it in again and it pops out the new version of the goggles. It just pushes all the way in and doesn’t come out.   Dji please use your brain a little more answering questions for your customers

if you look closely ( might wanna play with light reflection) at the bottom of the insert slot, there's a small drawing (i had a hard time to see it), the drawing indicates that card should be inserted bottom up (the metal parts facing up)

and yes there's a spring to allow ejection.
