What's more interesting to watch; a hedgehog eating an apple, or a carrot rolling down a hill?

Seriously, both can do things the other one can't, it all depends on personal preference. The one thing I think you can argue objectively is that Avata 2 is probably more fun to fly, especially if you get a few of them to chase each other.

It depends entirely on the subject being recorded. Recording farm land with one won't be as interesting to me as flying over New York City with the other. But if both were flying over the same farm land the Avata 2 will provide more interesting footage to me if being flown manually.

My FPV friends will disown me for saying this, but I'm not so sure about that. Mini 4 Pro with its hyperlapse feature might get some really interesting shots of the farm land that Avata 2 could never reproduce.

But then again Avata could take the flight inside the barn or go through a tree canopy etc. which you'd probably never attempt with the Mini.

It would be a tough choice between them so I think the most reasonable option would be to bring both

Yeah, I mean same location. What would be more interesting to watch as a processed video.

That's the diplomatic answer for sure

I flew GPS drones for several years until I got bored with them - so my opinion will be bias as I'm in the FPV honeymoon period with the Avata 2 having returned to the hobby to go down this new path and have no regrets in doing so.

In reality they are both excellent for what they are intended to do. It's a very subjective question.

It's a 'how long is a piece of string' question TBH - there are so many variables to consider and what one person may find interesting may bore someone else to death. For me, the Avata 2 hands down but that is my personal preference and not a definitive answer if that makes sense.

I get that, FPV is certainly more fun to fly, I don't think anyone can argue that! Especially if you don't travel to exotic destinations every week to be able to put camera drones to use, you get much more value out of FPV. And it gets even more fun if you find some friends to fly FPV with.

But which is more fun to watch I think really depends not just on what was recorded, but also both on the person watching and pilot's execution much more than the choice of drone

I've got the Air 3 and now the Avata 2. Hands down the Avata 2 is more fun to fly. But I think both can output equally interesting footage albeit in different ways.

I enjoy flying the Avata 2 closer to the ground and use it for exploring my surroundings. The Air 3 is nice to fly higher up so I can get the bigger picture. Air 3 also takes better stills and can do hyperlapses, and timelapses. I'm also way more confident flying the Air 3 in iffy conditions.

Exactly: It's all about your own opinion. That's the whole reason why we have polls.

The main difference is a wider view of Avata (I personally prefer!) and completely different purposes - Avata is for close, confined spaces, Mini is for shooting from above, and Mini has gimmicks like Hyperlaps and Panos while Avata has Auto Start Recording My Favorite ...
All in all I sold Mini 4 Pro but kept Avata 2 (although am not flying with her for 2 loooooong weeks as I am all in FPV long range now ;) )

Love the autostart recording. Always check that it actually starts though since it happens sometimes that it does not. Real bummer finding that out once at home

I wouldn't have thought so, maybe one our American members can let us know the relevant/current regulations?

Not much of a surprise to me Swedrone. I have a feeling that England will win the competition and good luck to them. It is the fawning soccer 'pundits' that I cannot stand. I tend to watch with the sound turned off.

I mean it shouldn' have happened in the first place. The audience members who were attending at the time (1 dead and others injured) had not expected to be in any gunman's sights.
