the iPd 3 is not officially listed in the compatible devices for the Go app. But the iPad 3 mini is present. I installed the DJI go app using iFunbox ant it starts regularly. The problem is that it doesn't recognise the connection to the RC.
Are you sure you want to use an unsupported device with your $1300 aircraft? There's a good reason why it isn't supported nor can it be downloaded to an unsupported device - you may experience reliability problems that could cause a flyaway and/or hurt someone.
Note that the iPad Mini 3 runs a processor (A7) powerful enough to handle the demands of the DJI Go app.
The iPad 3 does not - it's processor is one generation behind the minimum requirement (A7)
