Thanks Sean, I will. I did not know that forum, and it's always interesting to learn from advanced pilots.
About this problem, and after spending the whole morning with DJI assistant by chat, we ended up performing a Factory Reset. Tomorrow I'll be spending 6 batteries making tests and hopefully it will be fine again.
By the way, I'm also under another weird thing and you may probably know about it.. Do you know why DNG on single picture is different than the single DNGs from a Hyperlapse? I don't know why, but my Pixelmator Pro software is able to open natively the single DNG, but it says no compatible if I try to open the Hyperlapse DNGs. Final Cut also can't read the Hyperlapse ones...
Can't help with the imagery problem, sorry.
However it is not necessary to run through 6 batteries to check problems with the recording of logs.
The txt flight logs are recorded from motor start to motor stop, consequently stopping and starting the drone's motors will end the recording of one log and start the recording of another log, so you could in theory end up with dozens of logs whilst using just one battery.
The .DAT flight logs are recorded from drone switch on to drone switch off, thus you could end up with multiple DATs from just one battery. Note if you do multiple motor stop and starts during one drone switch on you will end up with multiple .txt flight logs but only one DAT and that DAT will cover all the .txts.
To recapitulate, providing your wife's PC can see the logs I would not be worried by their absence or apparent absence from the smart controller. I have thousands of saved flight logs and store none on my phones, I move them all from the phones to elsewhere.
If nothing else it reduces the chance of an accidental sync up loading logs to DJI and the deletion of the DATs.
You can probably copy logs from elsewhere to the controller but you must put them in the correct folder in the smart controller, put them in the wrong folder and the app will not see them.
