Hi, would you be so kind to tell me if filling up all the sd card in the M2P and the SC (yes, both) can end on a flight data deleted?
I mean, unfortunately I was more focused on the recording than on the screen pop ups, and it seems I missed a message warning me something related to delete cache. As I was adverted that my memory was full, I problably just say yes or something... yes, my mistake.
So, the fact is that action deleted my fligh data and I need to know if there is any option to recover that info.
Sorry about my english, it's not my primary language.

Also been trying to connect my SC to my mac with no success... just in order to see if there is something else to do or find.

Thank you in advance.

Update: I was able to connect the SC to my wife’s pc and todays flights are stored on sc internal memory. I don’t know the reason why they are not shown at DJI GO and subsequently can not be uploaded to the cloud.

It won't have any effect on your recorded flight data.
Your flight data isn't recorded on any SD card, in the drone or controller.
It's recorded in the internal memory of your controller.
The location where it is stored is:
DJI\dji.go.v4\FlightRecord

For reasons unknown it can sometimes take logs quite a while to show up in the app, that happened to me recently. You might try rebooting the app and or the RC itself.

Yes, there is where I saw it is stored. At least a file with encrypted text and the date as file name.

Or if you can see the flight recordlisted here

a file with encrypted text and the date as file name
That's the recorded data for a flight.
If you see it there, the flight data isn't missing.

With regards to rebooting the app, I can't help there as I do not have a smart controller.
With regards to rebooting the smart controller, just switch it off and then on.

Thank you, so according to your info, and seeing just one file with the correct data, I have to say that at least 5 flights are missing. I thought it could be posible that all day flights were stored into one single file. So the problem is bigger. Something is wrong in there.

The DJI Go 4 app shows all flights for which the data has been saved.

I know. But the problem is that I’ve got several warnings related to “no space” on my M2P 64Gb sd and I was promted to move to the Smart Controller 32Gb card. As far as I know, when I tried to upload the flight data to the cloud, it was something weird that asked me to delete cache. As the first attempt to upload failed, I just say yes to delete cache. Sorry for this mess guys but I’m desperate.

But the flight records are never stored on any SD card, so that's irrelevant.

If you've deleted flight data that hasn't been synched to DJI's server ... it's gone.

Ok. Let’s say that I deleted flight data. How’s possible to do that? What I must do? The only way I think is deleting from DJI  GO 4 app on the Smart Controller after flying and before uploading to the server. And I did not performed that. Is it other way to delete them?

If you have found the logs via your wife's pc then just copy them or move them to somewhere other than the screen device.
All my logs are stored 'elsewhere'.
You can then view the logs via airdata or phantomhelp's logviewer.
There is no need to get desperate about them.

CsvView will process mavic 2 flight logs and allow you to view graphical results.

It happened me again... something is corrupted in there... I can't even log out DJI account on my Smart Controller. May be a Factory Reset could fix this...
I have saved FlightRecord but it's not possible to read that txt. Do you know a Mac software for it?

Kindest regards

You can't read the files because they are encoded.
To read them, upload them to https://www.phantomhelp.com/logviewer/upload/

Just curious to see that I can not see the hour of the flight, just the day/month/year on Smart Controller DJI GO 4 app, but all data is shown on iphone DJI Go 4 app.

It is normal for the flight history list to display only the date, as I remember Go and Go4 do the same thing.
With regards the log being unreadable, you should re read my post, post number 16.

Take note of the CsvView comment as well, the graphs it can produce are very useful at times.
If you have a look in the mavicpilots forum CsvView is often used by the likes of slup, sar104 and others to show problems etc.

JJB here does the same thing and perhaps more with his chart producer.

Thanks Sean, I will. I did not know that forum, and it's always interesting to learn from advanced pilots.
About this problem, and after spending the whole morning with DJI assistant by chat, we ended up performing a Factory Reset. Tomorrow I'll be spending 6 batteries making tests and hopefully it will be fine again.
By the way, I'm also under another weird thing and you may probably know about it.. Do you know why DNG on single picture is different than the single DNGs from a Hyperlapse? I don't know why, but my Pixelmator Pro software is able to open natively the single DNG, but it says no compatible if I try to open the Hyperlapse DNGs. Final Cut also can't read the Hyperlapse ones...
kindest regards

Can't help with the imagery problem, sorry.

However it is not necessary to run through 6 batteries to check problems with the recording of logs.
The txt flight logs are recorded from motor start to motor stop, consequently stopping and starting the drone's motors will end the recording of one log and start the recording of another log, so you could in theory end up with dozens of logs whilst using just one battery.

The .DAT flight logs are recorded from drone switch on to drone switch off, thus you could end up with multiple DATs from just one battery. Note if you do multiple motor stop and starts during one drone switch on you will end up with multiple .txt flight logs but only one DAT and that DAT will cover all the .txts.

To recapitulate, providing your wife's PC can see the logs I would not be worried by their absence or apparent absence from the smart controller. I have thousands of saved flight logs and store none on my phones, I move them all from the phones to elsewhere.
If nothing else it reduces the chance of an accidental sync up loading logs to DJI and the deletion of the DATs.
You can probably copy logs from elsewhere to the controller but you must put them in the correct folder in the smart controller, put them in the wrong folder and the app will not see them.

One other point has just come to mind.
Imagine you have two or more DJI accounts, e.g. A and B.
When you are logged into account A, the app will only show you flights flown under account A's login. Similarly when logged into account B the app will only show you flights flown under account B's login.
Neither account will show you flights flown when not logged into a DJI account although those logs WILL be recorded.
I do not remember what the app will show when you are NOT logged into an account.

That sounds good. I did not know about that DAT files you talked about, ,... but now that we "formatted" the Smart Controller, nothing to worry about. I just copied the txt from FlightRecords into dji.go.v4 folder and now starts from cero.
Thanks for your teachings, I appreciate it, Sean.

Have a good night
