- Hi. I'm still running my trusty old Phantom 3 Advanced, and up till now it has performed perfectly. However, the original controller no longer charges much beyond minimum, so I sourced a pre-owned replacement. I have updated the firmware so that the 'new' controller and the drone are singing from the same hymn sheet, but I keep getting these weird messages on the DJI Go app. On the camera screen, a flashing red bar highlights the words 'Remote Controller signal weak'. If I tap the flashing red bar, I am taken to the Aircraft Status page, where under Radio Channel Quality, the word 'Poor' appears - and below this there is a further message next to a lightbulb icon, stating 'Strong interference. Fly with caution'. The drone, however, will not fly as it cannot connect to the controller. I am at my wits' end now. Any ideas what else I could try?
Incidentally, the drone responds perfectly to the original controller, even if the controller won't charge beyond the bare minimum and therefore is practically useless. I did thnik about swapping the battery from the replacement controller into the original one, but I am bnot sure I have the necessary skills to do this.
