Hello,

can I somehow change the Gimbal from 'Follow Mode' to 'FPV Mode' for Air 3 + Goggles 3 + RC 2?
With Air 3 + RC 2 it's possible to toggle between the two modes in the control settings.

Just noticed that the Air 3 keeps the selected gimbal mode setting that I've choosen on RC-2 when I fly with Goggles 3.
Nevertheless a mode toggle option within the Goggles menu would be great, because after each battery change the mode is always set back to Follow Mode (why?), so I have to switch off Googles, change mode in RC-2 and power up Goggles again.

still not from Goggles menu yet. You have to select it in RC2 menu before power up the Goggles.
Another option ist to put FPV/Follow mode on a RC2 button (which is new, at least I've not seen that button option before)

Depend on your use case.I had M4P first, but replaced after two weeks with Air 3, wanted to have the zoom, longer flight time, more power...
Later I bought Avata 2 to practise Acro, but I'm too careful with it, it's too heavy for crashing, so bought other 2" tinywhoops too. Now came the Neo, it fits in my cargo trousers side pant, I can use with mobile, I can use the RC-2 controller from Air 3 / M4P and I have the Goggles 3 and can fly basic acro with FPV RC3. It was a nobrainer for me to buy the Neo. On weeken I was flying in an old plant with lots of machinery an crashed the Neo several times, has not even a scar. On some minor collissions the Neo just made some pirouettes and continued flying. M4P would have been badly damaged. I really had so much fun with this little guy, that is what counts for me.
Downside of Neo: you need good light. Noisy (little bit, not much more then other 2" whoops)
My suggestion would be to buy and try it, an decide later if you want to keep it and probaly get rid of M4P.For me currently Neo, Avata 2, Goggles 3, and Air 3 with RC-2 covers all I need.

I'm not hiking, but even for a few kilometers walking to towards a fly spot, I can already feel the Air 3 in my backpack. I wouldn't recommend.
