I've just upgraded the android phone I use with my RCN1 and Mini 2 to the 1.13.4 fly app, and currently have no plans on updating the 1.12.4 fly app on my Mini 4 Pro and RC2, as I find the 1.13.4 start screen cluttered with panels.
I don't use quick transfer, hopefully won't be using service, and the before you fly panel is permanently stuck on locating......another feature I'll never use.
So my question to DJI and everyone here who is interested in responding, is what kind of system resources are being used up locating..........?
I would say the processor in the RC2 is more than overloaded as it is after its many updates and additions, and I miss the days when I first got my Mini 4 and RC2 when the setup booted up quickly and the controller was a joy to use.
Perhaps some nice little blue switches in one of the menu's to disable a bunch of the processes that don't need to be running all the time would speed things up, and those that want them running can flip the switch to enable and they will magically appear

hi all i had a mini3 not the pro i had a lavier wireless mic so i could lay down a audio track when using screen shots but it dont work with my mini4 with the rc2 i have tried wired usbc mics and 2 wireless mics no joy is this a fault since the last update or is dji forcing me to only buy there mic set up other people have used the same mic as mine with sucess

DAFlys, I watch pretty much all the relevant you tube channels, and yes seems like it improved the boot up time over the previous update and got rid of the P eveyone was so worried about, lol. I'm still on 1.12.4, which is the last firwmare update that actually worked, and boot up times are 20 seconds for this firmware, though the RC2 isn't as snappy as it was when I first bought the drone.
