Hi community,
I would like to watch movies with my new Goggles 3, so I bought Apple EarPods (USB-C), connected them to the Goggles and loaded some mp4 files onto the micro SD card.
-> The movies are displayed, but the headphones don't work at all.
Although a volume indicator is displayed.
Are there any known compatibility issues known für the EarPods?
Does anyone got this to work with a different set of headphones?
Or does the whole thing not work at all?

after reading a lot of information and manuals, it seems like a USB DAC is necessary.
So I ordered one and will try again when I receive it.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. You're correct! The goggles have no speaker but can be conected to headphones via USB-C port. It only supports Type-C headphones and headphones adapters with built-in DAC. USB DAC is necessary if you would like t connect your earpods with your goggles 3.

I have now received the USB DAC I ordered and everything works and sounds really great.
In my case, I bought a FiiO JadeAudio KA1 and use it with EarPods with the classic 3.5mm plug.
This device definitely works with the Goggles 3.
Maybe this information will be helpful for someone who has the same problem.

Hi Same question from me too, as a VR goggle can we use it as a VR display for a laptop or phone??
and if yes, how to?
and if not, why not? (considering it has all the necessary hardware)
