Short distances, nearby forest, flight over the river and ... RC signal interference.
Does this risk a break the connection and losing control of the drone?

Can you please try to fly your DJI Avata 2 to a different location or in an open area with less interference and see if the issue persists?

Just a reminder that the signal between all the devices is most reliable when the relative distant between the motion controller and the goggles is less than 3m.

It uses a form of Bluetooth to talk between the MC3 or RC3 to the Goggles 3, and it handles the actual control signal to the Avata 2.   I would check for other forms of interference nearby yourself such as a phone, bluetooth speakers/earbuds.. etc.  
If it loses connection with the controller it should just stop where it's at. Maybe RTH (depending on your settings).

Please tell us how tall you have to be for the Motion Controller  to be more than 3 meters away from the goggles?

In my area, to obtain permission to fly, I have to report it in the application. I have to have my phone active, it's in my pocket. I have the controller in my hand. I have goggles on my nose. There are pastures for cows around me, a forest and a river nearby.
