Interesting find DA.    Although it is a cool gadget why does it have to be so huge?  Seems they could minimize it's size even more and still retain the desired function.

Agreed,  at least the chest mount could be smaller.

Probably a few trial and error tests and then they will consider work on miniaturizing it.  

Wow, that is a nice z axis stabilizer.

And the price is reasonable too.
You will need an operator, but I can always ask SWMBO to drive so I can do the filming

I did a couple of camera mounts on the car and used some elastic bungee as a safety in case the camera came off.

Yes I have full insurance,  but Id never claim against myslelf,  it's not worth it for the premiums going up.

We had to make a claim some years ago. The jump up in discount was not that bad. You're not back to the first year for sure.

Ou premium went up after SWMBOd had the car written off,   and even though we claimed direct on the other policy just declaring an accident made a jump in price by near 40%

I don't remember exactly, but the monthly extra was just a couple of euro's. So that was well worth it for us.

We had a lot of trouble insuring the car this year,      most places dont recognise the model for some reason and many were quoting 3-5k to insure it as basically they didnt want to as its getting to be a rare model and lots apparently are being stolen,   I guess thats what happens when you have a car with a top speed of 180mph.   although Id need to go to Germany to test that.

I need to repave the one that was written off at Christmas.   Sadly they no longer make that model as Id have been happy to have a refreshed version of that.

Mine is still from 'before the price jump', so my monthly addition is a lot less than the same car would give me when bought now.

This is how it works.
If you have a car from your employer and you are allowed to use it privately, they add a percentage of the (initial sales) value to your income, which results in paying more taxes.
So the more expensive the car, the more I pay.
But the good thing is that it only costs me € 250,- per month. And everything is included.
