This is a correction from my post I made yesterday.  I am thinking about buying a new Air3 with a DJI RC 2 controller.  I have read some really bad reviews about the controller not charging properly and things of that nature.  What has been your experience with the DJI RC 2 controller?

Seen all several complaints about charging problem, same with RC. I'll assume it's an ordinary marriage.

I have the RC2 and use it with my Air 3.  I've had ZERO issues with it.  It does boot ujp a little faster after the last FW update which is always a good thing.  The screen is not quite as bright as the screen on the RC Pro but then again look at the price difference.  

I have had zero issues with it except for 1 bad software update but I resolved that and it's all good.

I like my DJI RC2 as well. There are pros and cons* for both remotes but as I'm lazy to connect my phone all the time RC2 works well for me.
* like battery life compared to remote+phone combo or offline maps for RC2
