I tried using Waypoint twice today. Both times, the P3 went to the 1st Waypont but headed straigth down [without a soft landing].
I recorded the first waypoint above 10m, created 7 waypoints, then apply etc. The dp3 proceeded to run into the ground at the position of waypoint #1.

Anyone have any experience with this issue, or recommend what I might be doing wrong?

If you're using  an android for your screen you may want to invest $15.00 and buy the Litchi App.
IMO it works much better and you do not need to be in the air to map out your waypoints.
I tried it today for the first time and it worked great.

Thanks for the tip. I'm using iOS.
Looking into the AutoPilot app as an option.
