I fear this could be a software BUG.

Yesterday, flying the new M4P along the coast of the Great Australian Bight.  A bit of wind, but nothing too serious, but I flew in Sport Mode anyway just in case. Ther are nothing around at all, up 50 m or so.

Battery over 50%, when I ask it to return home, it just hover there, do nothing.  I can rotate it, take pictures, but not moving. It can go up or down, but not forward.
I finally decided to switch back to N mode, and then it started working.

Has anyone seen this before....I never had such problems with my Mavic Pros for the last 7 years.

Would like to submit the flight record for DJI to analyse.

Hi there, may I ask if the firmware is the latest version? If not, could you please update the firmware to the latest version to see if the issue still exists?

Yes it should be, I only updated it about a week ago.  I can't remember the version id.  If you really needed it, I can get it tomorrow when i turn it on again.

I fear the same bug costed me to lose one a few months ago when in the USA.  Again, it just hover there without moving,  it was only meters away from the cliff edge.

I tried it again this morning, the same thing happened, and quickly switched it to N mode, but only after a couple of tries before it started moving.

Here are the version numbers installed, from the RC2 controller "ABOUT" info

RC  02.02.0000

For the flight log, I have already enabled Auto-sync Flight Records, and Flight Record Authorization.  The particular flight record in qustion was on 25 June ( last week ) about 10:28 local time.  I have attached the SRT files fo the video capture on that launch, to help you to locate the flight reocrd.  Hope this will help to find the issue.

No I have not, as there has been no damages or flyaway issues.  I only want to report this problem for DJI to diagnose and investigate if there is a software bug.
