How did you open the original battery?
Is that battery locked or not?
If you want to remove the battery without locking the circuit, you can try the method below.
⛔ NOTE: This guide is for professionals only, do not repair if you do not know anything and do not have repair tools.
Here's how to remove the battery when the BMS circuit is not locked. Do this carefully step by step. It may cause a fire or explosion if the terminals touch each other.
Step 1: Let the battery pause for 5 minutes - 10 minutes, do not plug in the charger, do not press the test button, do not press the power button to turn on the light.
Step 2: Next, connect a 10k ohm resistor in series to each lipo battery cell (⛔ Be careful not to let the positive and negative poles of the battery cell touch each other, causing a fire or explosion or possibly damaging the circuit and battery. The BMS circuit will lock.
Step 3: If you are careful and don't want to clog the circuit, solder a voltage in parallel, from any 4s “Lipo or Li-ion” battery with a voltage of 14.8v. Equivalent or equal to the voltage of the current dji avata battery.. Do not solder the voltage of the balance wire. (See carefully the image below).
Solder the XT30 male connector first, then install the XT30 female connector of battery 4s.
(⛔ Note: Plugging in the opposite polarity is very dangerous. You must pay attention to the black wire being the negative pole, the red wire being the positive pole, ensuring safety. Otherwise, a large fire or explosion will occur)
Step 4: Next, carefully remove each Lipo battery cell of the “DJI Avata Battery”. If possible, remove it with ceramic scissors as it does not conduct electricity.
Step 5: After removing all the Lipo battery cells of the "DJI Avata Battery", the last step is to remove the XT30 power jack of the last 4s 14.8v battery (which is supplying power).
Step 6: Wait a few seconds. Re-plug the 4s battery's power jack and wait 2 seconds for the green light to flash. Then press the power button for the first time to check the battery and hold it a second time after all 4 lights are on and all 4 lights are not flashing continuously, it is successful!
The image below is a typical example.
