Me too,  but probably not for the same reason as you.     And to be fair they are usually really nice trains and more than half are less than a year old.

Some of the rolling stock around here is a bit elderly, but the newer stuff is quite clean and comfortable.

Have you noticed if the new ones are quite than the old one?    The new stock here seems a different tone and less of it.

When I rode the early train to Sheffield earlier this year, it was a modern (Sprinter) diesel. Quiet enough and comfortable.

I dont trust people to do this and they dont polish to the same level I do,  at least not without getting a specialist in.

Another gloomy start to the day.  Somebody needs to let Mother Nature know it is July and to bring on the summer weather.

I do it regularly so its a fairly easy job to maintain,     yesterday I also applied a ceramic coating to the front of one them,  but that turned into some actual work as it was too warm for it.

Its rained here since about 11am and it wasnt forecast to rain until tomorrow,    thats what I get for topping up the ceramic coating on the car yesterday.    It's put a stop to any gardening I wanted to do before recycling day tomorrow and flying the avata would be miserable in that.

How often do you have to top up the ceramic coating?

It depends on what you use,   the longing the coating lasts the harder it is to apply,  so I applied a 2 year one 5 years ago and Ive been using a ceramic detailing spray to top up the high wear areas,   At some point I should redo the entire car but thats a 2 day process.

Yeah, I think I'd just keep up what you are doing unless it quits working.
