Hi there, thank you for reaching out. The wireless streaming function enables you to project the video playing on your mobile phone or computer to the goggles display. For this to work, the video player must support wireless streaming. To use this function, open the goggles menu and select More, then tap Wireless Streaming and follow the on-screen instructions.

* There is no speaker in the goggles but they can be connected to headphones through the USB-C port. Only Type-C headphones and headphone adapters with built-in DAC (digital-to-analog conversion) are supported.

Thor,

Thank you for your helpful reply. I'd like to give the Wireless Streaming a try, and knowing that I can connect my headphones using the USB-C port is very useful information.

Now, I'm not being able to stream video to the goggles 3. I have both my phone and the goggles connected to the same wireless, but the Goggles won't show up on my Android phone, on the YouTube app, as a valid video casting destination.

Am I right to assume Wireless Streaming is different than Chromecast? In that case, can you let me know what Android phones or Android Apps would be compatible? Is it some kind of Miracast perhaps?

Thanks in advance!

I got it working! But with a microSD card.

1. Turn on Drone (you'll need the drone)
2. Insert microSD card into Goggles
2. Turn on Goggles
3. Connect Goggles to Drone
4. Go to Menu > Settings > Camera > Format > Goggles SD Card and format the SD card

Now you can put .mp4 video files in the SD card and they'll show up in the Goggles.

For audio, I've used a USB-C to 3.5mm male adapter. Audio is a bit noisy but with the goggles you get so immersed that you end up not noticing it.

Hi there, may I ask if you encounter any issues with the wireless streaming function? You can refer to page 32 of the user manual below to see if it helps. https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... _User_Manual_EN.pdf

I'm a little bit lost here. Wifi 2.4ghz, same on both Iphone and goggles, using streaminglite app, it identifies the goggles, shows the youtube video title on the goggles screen, but it never plays on the goggles.

Seems like I need to have the router really close... not very strong on detecting the signal

The Apple iOS App 'Tubio' seems to work quite well and it can be tested for free and is cheap to purchase. This will stream video content from a built in web browser

Hi there, everyone.

What are the steps to easily connect to a WIFI router with password? Do I need to use the goggles buttons? Is it possible to use the DJI Fly App to type in the password?

Thanks!

Hi, there
Thanks for your question.
In order to better help you, could you please tell us if you are referring to the connecting issue of the goggles? Which model device of drone are you use for?

Tubio works on iPhone with these headphones but only for free YouTube videos.  Any alternatives for iPhone?
Ideally to stream from Netflix, Apple TV app etc. would be great.

It's not really an issue. I'd like to know the options to enter the wifi password when trying to connect goggles 3 to my personal wifi router to get wifi streaming working.

Hi Rodolfo, may I know if you would like to perform the wireless sharing?
If so, there is no need to enter Wi-Fi, and you could enable “Share FPV to Mobile Device Via Wi-Fi” in DJI Goggles 3, and connect a mobile device to the goggles via Wi-Fi, and then the live view of the aircraft will be displayed on the DJI Fly app in the mobile device. Wireless sharing supports connecting one mobile device only.

Like Rowell said, I've noticed that you have to have your DJI Goggles 3 fairly close to the router for them to pick up and be usable for Wireless Streaming via DLNA. I tested by connecting to my home wifi and it would never show up as a device to stream to on any devices, but when I broke out my tplink travel router, it had no issue seeing it for DLNA streaming.

I can confirm that Tubio works on my iphone. It's a little glitchy and doesn't want to connect sometimes, says "unknown error". I upgraded to the paid version for $4 and it enabled 1080p HD streaming, but it pauses to buffer too much to be useful. I set it to 720p, and it seems fine. Just need some USB-C headphones. I'm also able to play local media from my iphone.
I also got the wireless live view streaming to the DJI Fly app from the goggles. This is actually really nice for allowing others to see what I'm seeing, or just to keep an eye on my FPV feed if I take my goggles off while I'm flying.
Airplay would still be so much better than DLNA, so that request still stands.
