There seems to be a lot of confusion with the introduction of the Lightbridge2.

   1) Lightbridge2 at the moment is not aimed for P3 or Inspire1, but for S900-S1000 platforms.
   2) Inspire1/Phantom have Lightbridge1 build in.
          - It is almost impossible to replace the Air System on the Inspire1 or Phantom3 (see @1:02 of the introduction)   
          - However it would be possible to replace the Ground System. Looking @ 0:45 of the introduction, you get the idea
             it could be available as an upgrade to your RC as DJI does so with the Phantom3 - HDMI Output Module

   3) I quote a reply from Tahoe-Ed :  
      "The LB2 is not compatible with the LB1, Inspire or the P3's on LB.  I am not sure how that would be an upgrade path."

   4) Maybe this will be possible and available in the future with the Inspire2.
            - X5 or X5R
            - Lightbridge2
            - E1200 Pro Tuned Propulsion System
            - Unknown extras to make the Inspire2 even more intresting.

   5) Info on Lightbridge1 and Lightbridge2
       Specs on Lightbridge2

I might be wrong, but it looks like the LB2 is aimed specifically at users of the Z15 gimbals
Incorporating the nice streamlined LB unit built-in, just like the Inspire remote.
Makes it more appealing than the separate transmitter unit of the LB1.
Particularly as the Z15 users are on higher end UAVs.

Specifically for the HD gimbals.  Right now I am using it on a S900 with Zen for GH4.

     I am getting about 13,500 feet of video before it gets sketchy.  The only add on is a inexpensive windsurfer for the antenna.

I do not think I could go much further without a battery upgrade or modification.
