I ordered the Ulanzi PK-06 Expansion Adapter and the Ulanzi OA-11 and OA-12 Action bases. Direct from Ulanzi (China) they took about two weeks to reach TX. Here are my thoughts and a few photos.
The PK-06 weighs 3.2 oz / 91 g compared to the DJI Expansion Adapter at 1.4 oz / 40 g. It has a heavy sturdy build.
With the Action bases, I can mount a magnet on all 4 sides of the adapter, although I can skip the adapter on the back.
The adapters have a slight wiggle, however the weight would compensate in a static or slow moving environment.
I like the low profile it provides without having to use the GoPro style mounts.
With a Selfie Stick and because of the weight, I will most likey stick to the 1/4 mount on the expansion base, or use the DJI adpater with a GoPro mount.
It will be fun to experiment in different use cases, and with the variety of mounts I already own.
In the end, if I am out and about, I usually just bring along the Pocket 3 and sometimes the mini tri-pod and base. All the gear is fun to play around with, but I love the simplicity of just having the camera in my shirt pocket with no attachments.

Maybe a strong swirling wind, but I don't think a steady wind would cause it to shake.
It's one of the things that I notice with the P2. Because of the bulk of the weight being 'on top', it is quite prone to catching wind.
So I'm suspecting the P3 is sort of similar.
And with an adapter that is (a bit) wiggly, it might even become worse.
Hi there, thank you for sharing the pictures and your ideas as we're glad to hear that! However, we recommend users to use original DJI Adapter as it is designed and tested specifically for the Osmo Pocket 3. This ensures a secure fit and proper functionality with all the ports and features. Also, sing a non-DJI adapter might void your Osmo Pocket 3 warranty in case of any damage caused by the adapter.
Moreover, Third-party adapters might not fit perfectly or cause issues with the ports or buttons on the Osmo Pocket 3.

I found a way to remove the wiggle. I placed a strip of microfiber on the adapter. This tightened the connection considerably, no wobble or wiggle!
