Impatient to get into action.  It could be some time before the tide comes back in.
As you've mentioned before, best to SUP back inshore with the incoming tide.

Sadly that is in the airports NFZ and I think I mentioned what a nightmare that was,  although Im thinking of making a complaint to Drone Assist about that.

That sort of data should be unambiguous, for sure.
There's a NOTAM listed for Mam Tor just now - where I've just been. But when I checked it's for next Wednesday.

Ive just raised the issue with Drone Assist, I’m sure it will get me no where.

Check Mam Tor again.  It’s not a normal blue zone only an advisory.  These have caught me out recently too.

Yeah, it's probably someone being pro-active about a recreational flight.
If I didn't have a prior engagement, I'd wander up there and watch

I got my flight in yesterday, so there's no issue.
I wonder if it might be the Paragliders, they're often seen up there.

Paragliders usually have a proper notam listed rather than a planned flight listing,     I saw that in ulverston when we came across paragliders.

Rumor has it that the kid that tried to assassinate ex-President Trump flew over the area with a DJI drone to do a bit of reconnaissance before the event started.  Already 2 Congressmen are using that as a need to add the CCP amendment back into the NDAA Act.

I saw reports that there was a drone in the car,  but nothing about whether it was used or not.     But then theres also a lot of reporting that he was only hit with shrapnel and not a bullet after all.

I just saw the report in PBS about the drone flight,   thats not been pushed in our news here.  He could of course have made that flight with any manufactures drone.

I don't see the FBI asking DJI to unencrypt the flight data for them to see when and where he flew.  The only picture I saw of his drone it looked like an Air 3 but the photo has since been removed.

They wouldn’t need to ask if they had the controller or access to the phone that made the flight.  Just go into the fly app, tap the flight and move the slider for the flight path.

I don't think they've been able to unlock his phone yet.  That photo I originally saw only showed a drone and no controller.  Doesn't mean they don't have one but it just wasn't in that one photo.

I dont recall hearing what models he had.    Did you see they have now released body cam footage from the law enforcement on the roof.

No, I must have missed that.  I'll try and catch up on the news later this morning.  I need to do some routine maintenance on my 24 foot boat and also both of my jetskis.

The FBI seemed to be able to describe the flight he made in congress yesterday.   The congressman were hoping crazy about it and why it wasnt stopped or bumped into the FBI drones.

Still lots of unknowns.  I saw where Congress demanded that the Director of the Secret Service resign and the following day she did.  No doubt others within the Secret Service have been demoted or reassigned to menial assignments due to the lapses in security at that Trump event.

You know what is interesting though is it's not just the Republicans demanding answers but the Democrats as well.  First time for a united front from both parties in a long time.
